My timing has never been great, so it was par for the course when I scheduled moving to my new home at the end of March. Thanks to a local moving company that went above and beyond to accommodate me, and kind landlords who allowed me to move in a week early, I was settled in quickly, and could move on to the fun part – decorating, which has taken up much of my down time.
I’m a little jealous of my crafty friends who are sewing masks, stamping cards, etc., and with my painting supplies still packed away, I turned to a new hobby – journaling. Most nights, after I close my laptop, I try to jot down my experiences during this pandemic, which has been therapeutic. I was just out of college on 9/11, and looking back, I wish I had kept a journal to document what I personally felt and experienced. If anything, journaling has helped keep my thoughts organized and set some personal goals.
