New ‘niche’ salon takes root in Libertyville

LIBERTYVILLE – Chevelure Salon is open for business at 1117 S. Milwaukee Ave., Suite D2, in Forum Square. An open house celebration will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. March 24.

A Libertyville official will commemorate the occasion with a ribbon-cutting at 1:30 p.m.

Visitors can enjoy refreshments, beverages, door prizes and complimentary hand and chair massages, while exploring all the expert services the salon offers.

A swag bag will be available for the first 100 guests. A donation drive also will be taking place in partnership with Twice as Nice-Mother & Child of Gurnee to support families in crisis.

The salon opened in November 2018. Owners George and Rene’ Milbratz envisioned a space that was inviting and comforting no matter one’s hair needs. With 25 plus years experience, Rene’ Milbratz set out to blend exceptional salon services and much-needed hair loss solutions in one location.

French for “head of hair,” Chevelure Salon encompasses that passion by helping people look and feel better about themselves. The ambiance and full range of beauty services allows guests to unwind the moment they enter. The unique setup includes an indoor atrium to relax in during services, as well as a private nook specifically for hair loss solutions and the sensitivities that accompany them.
