ANTIOCH – “The Game’s Afoot” by Ken Ludwig, which will be directed by Lorrie Ferguson, opens Feb. 8 and will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Feb. 24.
William Gillette, an internationally acclaimed Broadway star made famous for his portrayal as Sherlock Holmes, invites his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle during a weekend in December 1936. When one of his guests is stabbed to death, the merriment quickly turns murderous. Gillette takes a page out of Sherlock Holmes’ playbook and takes it upon himself to stop the killer before the next victim is claimed.
“The Game’s Afoot” will run at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 8 and 9, 15 and 16 and 22 and 23. Sunday matinee performances will be at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 10, 17 and 24.
