GRAYSLAKE – The Lake County Community Pageant Program will host its 15th annual pageant at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the College of Lake County in the A-wing auditorium.

There will be town queens representing Avon Township, Barrington, Beach Park, Buffalo Grove, Fox Lake, Ingleside, Island Lake, Lakemoor, Lake Bluff-Lake Forest, Lake Zurich, North Chicago, Volo, Wauconda Township, Waukegan and Zion.

The queens will be collecting items or monetary donations for Lake County Honor Flight, a pageant partner, on the day of the pageant from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Building A at the college. They are looking for small dollar store items, such as zip-close bags, rain ponchos, hand wipes and other small travel items veterans can use on their trips to Washington, D.C.
