GURNEE – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding the person who robbed Gurnee Community Bank on Oct. 31.
According to a news release from the Chicago office of the FBI, a black man with short dark hair who was about 18 to 20 years old entered Gurnee Community Bank, 675 N. O’Plaine Road in Gurnee, about 4:14 p.m. Oct. 31.
Police described the incident as a “non-takeover bank robbery.”
The suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds with a slender build. He was wearing a dark blue hooded jacket, a blue shirt, a black ski mask, black gloves, black pants and dark gray shoes. He was carrying a black backpack, police said.
