LIBERTYVILLE – Adler Park, Butterfield, Copeland Manor, Highland Middle and Rockland schools will host separate Curriculum Nights for parents shortly after school begins.
Kicking off the event will be Rockland School from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 29 at the school, 160 W. Rockland Road, Libertyville. Principal Jeff Knapp will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the gym, and then there will be two classroom “sessions” offered at 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. and 7:25 to 7:55 p.m.
Adler Park School, 1740 N. Milwaukee Ave., will hold the event from 7 to 8:10 p.m., also on Aug. 30. Principal Dr. Kerri Bongle will present parents with an overview.
Butterfield School will host its Curriculum Night for parents from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 30 at the school, 1441 W. Lake St. The first teacher session will be from 6 to 6:30 p.m., with the second teacher session from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Principal Dr. Candice Kehoe and Assistant Principal Steve Feldman and the Butterfield Family Association will speak between 7 to 7:15 p.m., followed by the BFA Expo.
The BFA Expo will feature all the BFA committees in the commons for parents to stop by and learn more about the volunteer opportunities and sign up to help if they so choose.
Copeland Manor will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 29 in the lunchroom/cafeteria at the school, 801 S. Seventh St. Copeland’s evening starts with a presentation in the gym from 6:30 to 6:40 p.m. Copeland’s classroom presentations are from 6:45 to 7:05 p.m. and 7:10 to 7:30 p.m. Principal Dr. Lori Poelking will deliver an overview to parents.
At Highland Middle School, the Curriculum Night will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at the school, 310 W. Rockland Road, Libertyville.
