Personnel Support Detachment recipient of Pipeline Mover Award

The Transient Reduction Brand Audit and Assessment team conducts its audit of the Great Lakes Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) from July 16 through 26. During this ten-day visit movement and tracking of transient, student and limited duty personnel were reviewed for accuracy.
At the end of the audit PSD Great Lakes was notified that based on its outstanding results, it would be receiving the Certified Pipeline Mover Award for 2012.
The mission of PSD Great Lakes is to provide the best customer service to more than 25,000 service members and their family members, retirees and DOD personnel throughout the 16 state Midwest-region. They deliver customers accurate, timely, and courteous service in the areas of pay, personnel, and transportation support.
“It is a tremendous honor for our staff and a true indication of how hard they work to support our customers,” said Lt. Cmdr. Jason Grant, officer-in charge, PSD and CSD Great Lakes. “I am very happy that they have been recognized for their commitment and dedication as they truly deserve this award.”
