Summer’s not over yet. Plenty of festivals and outdoor events are happening in Lake County throughout August. Here’s a list of some of the many you can attend. For more information go to the village web sites.

Fox Lake
On  Aug. 19, Fox Lake will celebrate its 15th Annual Cardboard Cup Regatta. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lakefront Park on Nippersink Boulevard. Registration for the race begins at 8 a.m.  Aside from the race, there will be food, crafts and a beer tent.  The race will begin at noon.
On Aug. 26, the Fox Lake Chamber of Commerce will host Rally By The Lake - Car & Bike Show. The event will be held at Lakeview Park where food and refreshments will be available.  Entries for the show are accepted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the trophy award show begins at 3 p.m.
