A-Fair to Remember: What's new this year, what's coming back

GRAYSLAKE – A slew of new attractions will go hand in hand with fair-goers’ traditional favorites during the 84th annual Lake County Fair, running Wednesday, July 25 through Sunday, July 29 on the fairgrounds, 1060 E. Peterson Road in Grayslake.

The crowd’s oldies but goodies, such as the rides, food, farm animals and bingo will remain, but visitors will also find new, funky twists that have been added.

“It comes down to tradition,” said Sheri Vyfvinkel, general manager. “A mix of what makes the Lake County Fair so wonderful is the food, livestock and a nice environment … with new features to keep it fresh.”
