Grayslake music school celebrates 20 years

GRAYSLAKE – Kathi’s Musicians’ Center School of Music (KMC) in Grayslake is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Husband and wife and co-owners of the school Kathleen and Felix Cizewski opened the doors to their business in 1992 and say that they, along with a team of instructors, have taught countless of students over the years how to play and master the piano and guitar.

Kathleen, who is also the director, began teaching at a variety of music studios in Libertyville when she was 16 years old, and has been a music instructor at the College of Lake County for more than 35 years.
